Tudor House 29th May

Today we went for a day trip to Tenby. Although it was not sunny it was a lovely warm and dry day. The sea views were wonderful. We visited theTudor  Merchant's House Museum. On the way home we enjoyed a tasty ice-cream treat!
30th May

We had a cooked breakfast before our visit. Today we went to the Welsh Love Spoon Factory. The tour involved an explanation all about the Spoons. Mid morning we had drinks and ice-cream at Narberth before going to Sandersfoot for lunch. This was by the harbour and we then had a walk around the shops. Our next stop was a Chocolate Factory at Haverfordwest, we made choclate pizza's! Later we had dinner at the hotel the choice was "fish and chips" or "mexican grill".

Tenby 31st May

Again after a cooked breakfast we travelled from Tenby by boat to Caldey Island. We were taken around to see where the monks made perfume and then on to a chocolate factory. It was fascinating to walk around the Island to see how the monks live, work and play.
1st June

Today we went to Hatherton World of Activities, theme park. We enjoyed the bumper boats, the amazing maze, the bouncing pillows and the crazy golf. In the evening we went for a pub meal in Tenby and then went for a stroll along the harbour and beach.

Pembrokeshire 2nd June

We went to Sandersfoot to buy some laverbread, a traditional welsh delicacy, as Will wanted to take some home. Our next stop was Pembroke to do some shopping before going to the village of Angle to have lunch. While in Angle we watched the tankers on their way to the port of Milford Haven. Later we had dinner at The Buccaneer Inn, in Tenby and then back to the hotel for drinks.
3rd June

Before setting off for home we had our last cooked breakfast. This was also the opportunity for all of us to sample the laverbread (bara lawr, in Welsh). The results were mixed with some enjoying it and some who did not.
