Sunday 8th August

On the first day at Bournemouth everyone arrived safely. We had everyone settle into their rooms and unpack. We the had our welcome meeting together, where we all introduced ourselves and got to know one another. Finally, we went out to dinner, everyone ate really well, then we got some rest before our busy week!

Monday 9th August

In the morning we had breakfast in the hotel and had a great day out to the beach. We enjoyed the sun whilst having some drinks, before heading off to the restaurant for a lovely lunch. Later in the evening we all went bowling, dinner there was a nice treat to round off the day!

Tuesday 10th August

Today we had breakfast in the hotel, then we went on the Swanage Railway from Norden to Swanage at 10:30. We spent the day walking along the beautiful beach and enjoying our lunch in the lovely summer weather. We grabbed our ice creams to go and took the train back, all of us really loved it! Steve agreed that he “loved the train ferry”, saying that it was definitely the highlight of his day.

Wednesday 11th August

We had an absolutely wonderful day today, starting off with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon we had our lunch by the pool in a restaurant called SOHO, it was so relaxing! Well-rested, we took a boat from Poole Harbour and travelled all the way down to Bramsea Island. It was really far into the sea, the boat crew were so friendly, and we got loads of great photos!

Thursday 12th August

We had another lovely hotel breakfast this morning before setting off on our adventure for today! We began by going to see some heavy horses on a farm, they were massive! We learnt how to feed them properly and we thought they were really beautiful. Afterwards, some of us went on a tractor ride, it went so fast, but it was really fun. What a wonderful day.

Friday 13th August

After a busy week everyone decided to have a relaxing day, with lie ins and cooked breakfast’s all around. We had a paddle in the pool and enjoyed the sunshine, some of us got great tans! After another great lunch at SOHO, we spent the afternoon playing games and napping, so that we were all refreshed and ready to enjoy our evening entertainment.

Saturday 14th August

Today it was time to make our way home, we all said goodbye to our new friends and got packing. We are really looking forward to our next holiday with Options, what a fab trip!
