Monday 11th October

We were all really excited for our holiday today, as we met up, we all got to know each other and talked about our exciting trip ahead! We were really looking forward to all of the fun activities, so we unpacked and got a good night’s rest.

Tuesday 12th October

In the morning we all enjoyed a lovely breakfast together. We went to the fairground and had a walk around to see the different activities. We went on the bumper cars, a merry go round and even won some teddy bears! In the afternoon we went to a little mermaid show which was really colourful and fun. After a little rest in the afternoon, we had fish and chips and went to see a show, whilst Debbie and Anthony went to watch the England vs Hungary football match!

Wednesday 13th October

For breakfast today we chose hot cross buns and a lovely coffee. Some of us had cake too at the coffee shop in Arundel, it was delicious! Afterwards, we walked around the gardens of Arundel Castle, we had lunch there under a gazebo in the gardens. We went inside the church and saw all of the tombs and paintings. Next, we visited the gift shop and got some more cake and coffee at a nice shop nearby, we were definitely enjoying our holiday! After the evening pub grub meal, we went off to the entertainment centre to see the Jersey Boys, they wore very colourful glittering coats and had fabulous voices.

Thursday 14th October

This morning we went out and had a full English breakfast in a local restaurant. Then some of us went swimming and had a great time going down the waterslides! Everyone else decided on a game of crazy golf. Jez took Adrian and Michelle for a walk in the afternoon, they went along the beachfront and the sunshine was amazing. In the evening we had some pasta and pizza, the food was fantastic! We rounded off the evening dancing to a queen tribute band, what an eventful day!

Friday 15th October

Unfortunately, today it was time to head home. We packed our bags and said goodbye to our new friends. It was such an action-packed holiday to Butlins, and we all had loads of fun!
