Monday 20th September

After a long journey we got to Butlins safe and excited! We then had a lovely fish and chip supper. We all went to Studio 36 next and saw a band called ‘Shake Out’, everyone had a boogie! Finally, we went off to see a magic show called ‘White Magic’ which everyone thought was amazing, before heading back to our rooms and settling in for the night.

Tuesday 21st September

Today we went to a puppet show which we all thought was great. Most of us agreed that Mr Bones was our favourite, but Kim’s favourite puppet was the lady in pink. Later on, we visited the funfair where Stevie and Kim won prizes on hook the duck! Next up was Terry who went superfast on the Go Karts, before we all saw a really good show about Robin Hood (which was Clare’s favourite!). Everyone had a lovely meal in the firehouse grill, then we went off to see a band called ‘Shakehouse’. Finally, we finished off the night with a show called ‘Musical Rock House’, everyone loved it and we all had a fantastic day!

Wednesday 22nd September

The day started off with a lovely full English breakfast. Then it was on to our first activity, where we saw the puppet show called ‘Disco Mania’ with Olly Purs & Gladys Hen, the jazz band there was great! After that we took a pottery painting class where everyone enjoyed painting their choice of mould, we also then played crazy golf which was good fun. Next, we split up for a little bit, as Kim and Terry went off to Build a Bear whilst the rest of us had a look round the shops. In the evening we went for a delicious Italian meal, before Kim, Stevie, Stephen and Clare won loads of tickets on the penny machines! We all made our way to centre stage to see the amazing ‘Relentless’ and had an amazing time dancing the night away.

Thursday 23rd September

After a filling and tasty breakfast, we decided to go bowling and were really excited. After the games we enjoyed some ice cream whilst looking through some of the shops. We even managed to get some photos taken with Peppa the Pig! Later in the evening we went for a lovely dinner. Finally, we saw two shows (‘The Jersey Boys’ and ‘Take That’), everyone was up dancing for so long!

Friday 24th September

We had another lovely breakfast this morning before setting off on our journey home. It was a really fun holiday and we waved goodbye to our new friends that we’d made. What a great trip to Butlins!
