Monday 8th November

Today we all arrived and enjoyed a tasty pizza and trifle for dinner whilst getting to know each other around the dinner table. Later on, it was movie night, with hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows, it was really yummy!

Tuesday 9th November

After a Jade special ‘Mc egg Muffin’, we went to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We saw giraffes, rhinos, monkeys and reptiles, it was so cool! In the evening we went out for a lovely dinner and played some bowling, there were even a couple of strikes! Everyone played well and got some impressive scores, and it was great fun cheering each other on!

Wednesday 10th November

We started the day off with a fully cooked breakfast that was enjoyed by everyone. We then drove to Gloucester where we visited its beautiful cathedral and saw the cloisters where many Harry Potter scenes were filmed, it was so exciting! We followed it up with a trip to the shop, we all bought some souvenirs to take home with us. In the evening we had our meal in the barn, followed by a movie night. We watched ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and had popcorn with hot chocolate, what a treat!

Thursday 11th November

We headed off to Cadbury World today, where there were loads of demonstrations with lots of information on making chocolate, it was really enjoyable! We all got to sample the chocolate and even add our own ingredients, we had so much fun! Afterwards, we shopped and bought some chocolate goodies, souvenir photos and some great t-shirts. Later on in the evening, we went to a local pub and enjoyed a meal together. We also celebrated Robin’s birthday with a fantastic chocolate cake and some singing!

Friday 12th November

Today it was finally time to make our way home, Robin and Toyin agreed that their favourite part was making their own chocolate. However, Mikey’s favourite moment was the ride on the car at Cadbury World, whilst Nathan and Marie Claire loved everything! What a great holiday with Options!
