Saturday 14th August

Today we all arrived down in Torquay after a long drive and met everyone! We went to our rooms to unpack and then had dinner. We had a selection to choose from, but it all tasted wonderful. We relaxed and had a good chat and then headed to bed ready for our holiday.

Sunday 15th August

Today we went for a walk down to the beach and along the princess pier to explore the area and see what was around. Zoe and Grace both dipped their feet in the ocean, it was freezing cold! We then explored the marina and found a nice little cafe to have lunch. After we all wanted to go to the cinema, so we went and watched Peter rabbit 2. We all loved it, and it was very funny. We then headed back to our hotel to relax for a little bit before dinner. After dinner we went to the entertainment room to play bingo and listen to the music. We danced the night away.

Monday 16th August

After breakfast we headed to Woodlands Theme Park. It was a little bit of a drive, so we had a good song along on the way. We went on all the rides. The pirate ship was our favourite and Grace faced her fears riding it 5 times over and over as she discovered she loved it so much. We looked at the animals and went on the water rides getting soaking wet. Sadly, we had to head back to our hotel as the park was closing. We made it back just in time for dinner. Next up we had dancing and bingo. John did some great Elvis impressions.

Tuesday 17th August

Today we decided to go for some retail therapy and have a good shop around. We explored the town and found all the good shops. We all brought new outfits and some souvenirs and gifts. Jess and Zoe brought some giant cookies to take home. After dinner we went bowling and had a great time! We all really enjoyed it. Grace won with a score of 107!

Wednesday 18th August

After breakfast we headed down to the amusements arcade and had lots of fun trying to win prizes. Jess got stuck in a tornado whilst John and grace went on a virtual roller coaster. Zoe tried to win the giant dog by cutting a wire. Next up we headed for lunch in a nice cafe in Torquay town. After we rode the land train back to the hotel. We had a bit if time relaxing in the hotel and chatting with each other before dinner. Next up we had bingo! After the bingo we had a comedian and singer. Tash sang a song with him for her father.

Thursday 19th August

Today we went to Babbacombe Model village. It was huge! We walked all around it and looked for Wally and his friends. We found most of them. We stopped for our picnic lunch at the Bench's along the top of the village and could see all across it was really beautiful surrounded by all the trees and plants.

Friday 20th August

Today we went to Kent's Caverns and explored the prehistoric caves with all the stalagmites and stalactites. We got a tour with a guide who gave us all the history. Afterwards we went on the woodlands walk and found a mammoth and sabre-toothed cat!

Saturday 21st August

Unfortunately, today was our last day and time to go home. We packed our suitcases into the bus and said goodbye to Jen and Natasha. We then left to head back home.
