Friday 17th June

We arrived at the Bond Hotel in the last afternoon, it was the hottest day of the year so far! We all enjoyed an evening meal before watching the hotel entertainment. 2 female singers blew us away with their fantastic performances, along with a raffle. We all managed to stay up late even though we’d had long journeys, we were all having such a good time!

Saturday 18th June

We met together for our breakfast and welcome meeting, before heading off to the south pier for the amusements. We played deal or no deal and won stuffed toys, before heading to the bumper cars and then lunch on the pier. We watched lots of people getting dizzy on the rides! For our evening entertainment we watched a singer, with everyone getting up on the dancefloor! We also played some bingo, karaoke and a raffle, but there were no wins tonight!

Sunday 19th June

On our way to the circus, we did some shopping and had our lunch out at Costa! We all loved the circus and had a laugh at the clowns. We caught the train both ways, and we also found some hats for the fancy dress tonight! Katherine won the fancy dress and a prize to come back to the hotel another time! The judges loved her dressing as Sandy from Grease! Afterwards, we played bingo, did a raffle and danced until the evening entertainment finished. Keith went to bed saying he’d had a great day and really enjoyed the circus!

Monday 20th June

Susan summed it up, saying how much she’d enjoyed clowning around at the circus yesterday! After breakfast we caught the train into the centre, on the way we popped into McDonald’s for our lunch. We watched Buzz Lightyear, and we even had the cinema to ourselves, what a treat! After dinner in the hotel, we played a raffle and some games of bingo, along with the entertainers singing and dancing all night long.

Tuesday 21st June

Breakfast in the hotel was followed by lunch in a Wetherspoons overlooking the sea, it was a lovely and warm sunny day. We caught the tram into town and visited the Sealife Centre, we managed to see sharks, stingrays and a giant turtle swimming. Susan, Keith and John got a horse drawn carriage ride back to the hotel, Susan thought it was the best part of her holiday! We spent our evening enjoying the hotel’s entertainment, with Bill winning a prize for getting a line (£20) at bingo!

Wednesday 22nd June

We started off our day with breakfast at the hotel, before going for a fish and chip lunch in the local cafe. On the tram to Madame Tussauds, we took loads of photos together. The evening entertainment tonight was a Katy Perry tribute. followed by lots of dancing, bingo and a raffle. Susan managed to win a teddy bear in the raffle, which she very kindly gave to Bill! Katherine also told us a hilarious story about her friend, she laughed so much she began crying and couldn’t talk! She had us all giggling so much!

Thursday 23rd June

After enjoying our breakfast, we drove to Fleetwood Market to buy some gifts and browse all of the stalls. Katherine got herself a new bag and a top, whilst Susan bought a woollen sweater. Keith decided on some fudge whilst Bill went for a miniature Elvis guitar. We had our lunch in the marketplace cafe and enjoyed our afternoon, before getting ready for the evening entertainment. There were plenty more fun and games left to be had, with lots of karaoke performances and laughter tonight!

Friday 24th June

Today we all got packed and prepared to leave, we had breakfast first of course! Bill said he’d enjoyed the holiday so much that he didn’t want to go home! We all said our goodbyes and agreed it was a great trip to Blackpool.
