I been going on Options holidays since 2002. My first holiday was with Kirstine we went clubbing in Tenerife in the Canary Islands. I like going Options holidays because they make me feel like part of Options family. I love visiting places we go to I especailly enjoyed the USA and visting the Amish community, Liberty Bell, Washington dc as well as staying in a ranch called Dixie Dude in Texas. In Florida I loved it, Disneyworld is a truely magaical place.

Also I had great time in New Zealand. I have been lucky having these opptiunties with Options holidays. I love most them I have done, mainly abroad holidays like taking a train from st Panrcas station to Italy all way to Venice by train which I loved, and also staying on a felucca boat in Egypt and waking in the morning to prayer plus visiting the pyramids and Giza. Also one first holidays was to Kenya for safari it was great and we did a hot air ballon ride and champane breakfast. I also spent Christmas in Lanzarote where father Christmas came down on a camel. In jersey I really enjoyed learning about second war and first world war Jersey is lovely island.

What also like about these holidays is how we meet lots of people. I made friends and even one or two holiday romances. Options holidays are great for meeting different people with disabities all over uk. When we go holidays abroad people are very interested what we do and who we are. People get to know you and fascinated by us. in Cyprus a couple from Germany saw who Options were and didnt have this type thing in there country for people with specail needs.

I think options holidays are unqiue and friendly. There thing that keeps me going. I look forward to going on holiday inculding waiting at airport and its good when group gels because we all look out for each other. I hope many more experiences with options - people say i am walking travel agent.

This is a poem one of our holidays makers wrote at the end of their Sound of Music holiday in Austria.

Austrian Songbirds

Austria is the country of music,

From the town to the mountains and hills that come alive with song,

Every fibre of me wants to sing along.

The town of Salzburg is incredible with native dresses and beauty at every turn,

From trick water gardens to the beautiful churches,

River cruises and the sound of music sights,

It's a feast for the eyes and imagination.

Being woken up by birdsong in the mountains and sunshine all week long,

It's as if the mountains and valleys call me,

They sing to come along and play, sing and laugh all day long - the hills are truly alive with the sound of music.

It's a memory and experience I will cherish for a lifetime,

A beautiful place with incredibly kind people,

I felt like I could let all my troubles melt away and be myself,

My true self that more often than not hide away behind a mask,

I felt free,

I felt free.
