Butlins - Bognor

Monday 28th September

We arrived at Butlins and enjoyed eating a takeaway fish and chips for diner. We enjoyed watching the ABBA show and a drink for the evening entertainment. We had a late night watching The Blue’s Brothers tribute act. Jonathon said “the show was really good. Susan said “I was happy i stayed to watch the show it was good, i enjoyed the female singers.”

Tuesday 29th September

Today we went for a walk by the sea front, some of us enjoyed an ice cream by the beach front. We enjoyed a nice walk on the pier and watched some young lads jumping in the sea. some of us went in the amusement arcade, Susan won some money on the slot machines. In the afternoon we went to the diner and had burgers for dinner. followed by the evening entertainment called very Grande. “I loved the singers outfit, hair and boots” - Susan.

Wednesday 30th September

Charlotte, Michael and Jonathon went swimming with Jez. We all went on the flume slide, It was super fast and very dark. Micheal went floating down the rapids. Jonathon said “the pool was very lush” and Charlotte said “i did a handstand in the water” Susan, Micheal, Terry and Dalah went with Jade to play adventure golf. “It was my first time playing crazy golf, i enjoyed it” - Micheal. After lunch we all played bowling in hotshots. Charlotte won. Micheal said “It was my first time bowling, it was good fun” For dinner we had pizza at papa john’s, The pizzas were huge. In the evening we watched the Whitney Houston tribute singer and the second show was a little mix tribute dance show. Charlotte said “my favorite was the Whitney Houston singer”

Thursday 1st October

Today we visited Arundel Castle, the gardens were beautiful, we walked through the organic veg garden, lots of beautiful flowers and fountains. there were plenty of beaches for a rest too. Susan, Charlotte, Micheal C and Micheal V went with Jade inside the castle, the home of the Duke, it was very Grand. We enjoyed a picnic by the fishponds. Susan said “i really enjoyed going inside.” We had dinner at the beachcomber inn pub followed by watching the ‘Shane Nolan bard’ They were really good. The last show of the evening was the Madonna tribute act.

Friday 2nd October

We all said our goodbyes and then travelled home.
