Monday 26th September

After meeting some of the group at Hare Bushes, Cirencester, we travelled to Centre Parks, Longleat. We checked into our cabins in the Fir Forest & the rest of the group met us there, we were all so excited! We got to know each other & enjoyed pizza for dinner. Everyone was tired from the journey, and we all had an early night, ready to start our holiday tomorrow!

Tuesday 27th September

After breakfast, we got the land train to the plaza. We enjoyed a coffee in Starbucks and some souvenir shopping in the gift shops. We went back to the lodge for lunch and then went to the Swimming Paradise pool. James & Claire relaxed by the pool in the sun loungers, whilst Janet, Sandra & Jade waited in the wave pool for the call of Trajan, once the call had ended the waves came on, it was great fun! Chris, Christopher, Vanessa (Ness) & Neil were daredevils and went on the slides, they enjoyed the lazy river & all the slides! While waiting for the land train back to our lodge, we made some new friends. They sang happy birthday to Janet and our favourite George Ezra songs; we had an amazing time! In the evening, we enjoyed home cooked food back at the lodge.

Wednesday 28th September

Today we went to Longleat Safari Park, we walked through to see the giraffe, zebra & lemurs! Then, we got on the Options bus, and we drove through the safari. We saw lots of animals, lions, tigers, wolves, rhino's, cheetahs! The naughty monkeys jumped on the van; they hitched a free ride! The baby monkeys were really cute. We boarded the boat, saw hippos, gorillas & monkeys on the island. We also bought some fish and even fed the sea lions! We saw meerkats, porcupines and flamingos. We bought some souvenirs and gifts from the shop; everyone was really happy. In the evening, we went out for food to Hooks dinner, it was great food & atmosphere. We celebrated Janet's birthday, singing happy birthday and had chocolate cake. Janet said "Thank you for a great day, I really appreciate it. It's been so much fun!".

Thursday 29th September

Today, we took the land train to the sports plaza. We enjoyed drinks and our lunch in Starbucks. Janet, Claire & Christopher went to play adventure golf by the lake, it was a very close game! Vanessa, James, Chris & Sandra went for a walk in the forest, watched the squirrels & got the land train to the pancake house. They enjoyed a sweet treat of pancakes and waffles! Then, we all met up for tenpin bowling. Vanessa got a few strikes; it was great fun! We took the land train back to the lodge and packed our bags. Finally, we enjoyed home cooked food & relaxed for our last evening.

Friday 30th September

After breakfast, we all said goodbye & travelled home. Chris said "I enjoyed swimming, the water slides were great fun", whereas Vanessa’s “favourite day was the Longleat Safari park". We all agreed it had been a fabulous trip away with Options!
