Day 1 date

We arrived at the hotel today and checked into our rooms. We then enjoyed a lovely roast for dinner, it was really tasty! Some of us chose to stay up for the bingo and entertainment, while others chose to relax with some TV and get an early night.

Monday 23rd August

After breakfast we walked to Coney Island Fun Park. Everyone went on the Ghost Train and the bumper cars (which were Jason’s favourite!). Ben was brave and loved all of the rides and even went on the ones going upside down, he had a stomach of steel! Everyone really enjoyed the day, and no trip to the funfair would be complete without some candy floss!

Tuesday 24th August

This morning, after breakfast we set off to the activity centre for a go at the obstacle course. It was great fun, and everyone really surprised themselves in how well they did! Jason definitely enjoyed the ‘Spider’s Webb’ obstacle the most. Afterwards, we visited the fabulous ice cream parlour which everyone agreed was amazing!

Wednesday 25th August

After breakfast we set off for Caswell Bay for our surfing lesson, we were all really excited to give it a go! It was great fun and made easier to learn by the smaller waves, Ben even managed to get on his feet which was really impressive! Everyone agreed it was a fabulous experience and made great memories.

Thursday 26th August

Today we went back to the activity centre for our archery lesson and practice. Shaun was a natural, he looked like a regular Robin Hood! After a tasty lunch we all went quad biking. It was so much fun speeding around the farm, everyone really enjoyed it. We had to return to the fabulous ice cream parlour again as it was so good last time, what an action-packed day!

Friday 27th August

We took a trip to Swansea, The Mumbles today and picked up our bikes. We even got a bike for Shaun that had 3 wheels and was really comfy. We cycled along the cycle path and headed towards the sea. Once there we made our way along the beautiful seafront, stopping at a lovely cafe to grab some lunch. All too soon it was time to return our bikes and head back to Porthcrawl. After dinner we had a walk along the seafront before making it back for the evening game of bingo.

Saturday 28th August

After breakfast we walked to the town centre to browse the local shops. We had our lunch on the beachfront and played loads of games on the amusement, it was great! There were also lots of stalls that we could look round. Eventually we made our way back to enjoy our last dinner, before heading to our rooms to pack.

Sunday 29th August

We have all had an amazing week here! Ben definitely enjoyed the quad biking and the assault course the most. Everyone else agreed that they’d enjoyed the activities and had a brilliant holiday, we can’t wait to come back!
